J. Joseph Salon hires only experienced stylists – aside from providing an excellent resume must also perform a live styling exercise. Each stylist must present a model and take that model through an entire styling session, from shampoo and massage to the finishing touches. Our stylists are judged not only on the quality of the finished product but on the experience they provided for the model throughout the session. To be a J. Joseph Salon stylist you need more than talent and experience one must demonstrate an ability to provide a top-notch experience for the customer.
Our team is a community of artists. We learn from and teach each other which helps us all to grow in our art and provide our customers with better and better results.

Linda Boyington
Stylist Phenomenal talent and incredible style make for incredible looks.
Just ask the clients of Linda Boyington of J. Joseph Salon, who proudly flaunts fashion’s newest styles and trendiest looks.
Linda’s talent was recently pushed to the max at the prestigious Redken Exchange in NYC, where she mastered the “Tiered Bob” and “Double Color” – styles worn by stars like Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes.
Linda didn’t stop there. She learned to combine these two techniques to to emphasize the disconnect in a cut to create movement and shape. She also learned new blow-drying and styling techniques to achieve a client’s desired look.
Jeremy Bisono
Stylist Most recently, Jeremy Bisono, one of J. Joseph’s most talented stylists, spent a week in New York City at the renowned Redken Exchange.
Overlooking Fifth Avenue – the most fashionable street in NYC – the Redken Exchange is an educational and creative think tank for stylists with the highest level of expertise and consistency. The school is housed in an incredible 11,000 square foot facility that includes a hair color bar, 68-seat theater and interactive hands-on workshops.
Stylists attend the Redken Exchange to expand their artistic vision and challenge their own talents. Only highly skilled stylists like Jeremy are accepted and attend intensive professional classes, including color correction, blonding, design color and finish, advanced design, long hair, magazine photo shoots and dressing the bride.
They return home as cutting edge stylists with new skills that deliver the best hair care and latest looks for their clients.
The Exchange is also a great venue for exchanging tips, ideas and techniques with other hair stylists. “I learned so much from other stylists and it was fun sharing with them many of the unique things we do here at J. Joseph’s,” says Jeremy.
Dawn Rodriguez
Stylist Dawn Rodriguez makes her clients feel just as beautiful on the inside as she makes them look on the outside.
A cosmetologist since 1989, Dawn understands that being a hair stylist is much more than just doing hair. “It’s about the honest caring of others and using all of your skills and talents to make your clients look and feel their very best,” she says.
Dawn offers a full array of services, including coloring, foil hi-lights, scissor cuts, razor cuts, blow-drying, styling, up-do’s, perms and relaxers. She continually upgrades her skills and has earned certification from top schools, including Redken, Paul Mitchell, Matrix, Framesi, Clairol and Joico.
It was Dawn’s exceptional skills, as well as her commitment to her clients’ overall well being that brought her to J. Joseph Salon, one of the most skilled salons in the Tampa area with a reputation for respect and genuine passion for its customers.
Born and raised in New York City, Dawn moved to Land O’ Lakes, FL just over a year ago. She studied under Marcel Haigy, a renowned cosmetologist and former Golden Gloves boxer. “I am honored to have been guided by someone like Mr. Haigy who not only taught the foundation of exceptional hairstyling, but also taught me that cosmetology is about representing yourself and the salon you work for.”
Melanie Angeluski
Stylist / Extensions Melanie specializes in precision cutting techniques. Short styles or long styles, Mel is up to date with cutting edge looks.
If hair extensions are what you are looking for, Melanie does dynamic work. Impossible to tell they are extensions, “Great Lengths” is human hair that can be cut, colored, permed, or straightened. It is your hair. She uses a keritan bond instead of glue. The advanced technology keeps hair in its optimum condition with virtually no breakage. The bond stays tight so you do not have “shedding”. Jennifer Browder
Aesthetician Jennifer J. Browder Native Floridian Jennifer Browder is well trained in the protection and care required to keep your skin healthy and attractive in the Florida climate. She has recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the prestigious Clayton College of Natural Health and Study of Esthetics in Tampa. Jennifer uses a skilled holistic approach to skin care along with the finest products available to enhance and restore your skins natural beauty.

Stylist Mobley has a passion for cutting hair and creating a stylish look. “I am always learning and looking for new ways to perfect my methods of cutting and coloring hair,” said Mobley. “I’m excited to be out on the floor and look forward to meeting new people and trying new things.”
